Nulean One Week Diet
vs
Acai Berry Diet
A fair amount of evaluation has been done on both Acai Berry - marketed under several brands/formulations, and Nulean. Comparisons were made as to effectiveness, living up to stated or implied claims and general methods of marketing the respective products.
Acai Berry under various brandings has been much more high profile being associated with celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and a flood of internet ads whereas Nulean has been around a while longer but was mainly sold and administered through doctors seeking drug-free alternatives in the handling of people with overweight and obesity issues along with general detoxification.
We had difficulty finding any bonafide clinical trials or studies for Acai Berry. We did however come across an overwhelming number of postings where individuals were expressing extreme disappointment with the total lack of expected results. Some took limited comfort knowing that the Acai Berry, like many natural berries are rich in antioxidants and other nutrients. The problem we run into is that most of what is out there is represented as pure or natural when in fact it is significantly watered down. Added elements like green tea had more to do with the occurrence of actual weight loss when there was any. To enjoy the full nutritional benefit one would be better served to buy the actual berries fresh, in whole food form, preferably organic.
Nulean does have actual university studies conducted by licensed doctors using standard blood tests, before and after to validate the results. On the average, subjects experienced significant rapid and stable weight loss as well as large drops in Cholesterol 5%, Triglycerides 19.3%, blood sugar 3.7% and body fat 3.02% as well as a total loss of 7.63 inches and 7.5 pounds - all in the first week alone of clinical trials. We were impressed with these results and apparently the hundreds of doctors administering Nulean were as well.
Nulean is statistically the top natural weight loss/detox regimen administered by doctors the last 3 1/2 years. We found many doctors who indicated that they tried the cleanse themselves first and then proceeded to administer it to patients with confidence. Most of the doctors further indicated it to be significantly easier for patients to follow with success than the other available professional or medical cleanse regimens they had tried. We have yet to find any practicing doctors endorsing Acai Berry similarly.
Acai Berry as a stand alone by actual statistics and surveys has been shown to be ineffective both short term and long term as far as causing actual weight loss. Additionally we have not found any independent clinical trials or studies published as to the effectiveness of Acai Berry specifically for weight loss. Where people do lose weight while taking Acai Berry, it is primarily because of the other things added to the formulation or sold separately in conjunction with Acai Berry such as green tea, vitamins, and most often a colon cleanser. Nulean contains these supplements at a high level of quality and purity plus many more nutrient components in their basic formula. Beyond colon cleansing, muscle building and fat burning Nulean focuses on cellular nutrition supporting the liver and other internal organs that are responsible for cleansing the body.
We've run into countless complaints regarding the methods of marketing Acai Berry, specifically websites that literally trap you into buying or you cannot leave the site without logging off your computer. Also "free" offers that trap you unknowingly into an endless cycle of credit card charges which can only be stopped by canceling your credit card as the seller becomes disturbingly unavailable to remedy the "misunderstanding."
With Acai Berry we have not found any independent clinical trials,.. no legitimate verifiable "before and afters"...a high price/quality ratio and in most cases is generally not customer friendly. "Sticky" websites, underhanded bait and switch ads and bogus "free offers" seem the general rule ( Free trials clock in prior to customers receiving product and expire unexpectedly early, thus unsuspecting customers get a whopping $80 recurring charge that is almost impossible to cancel).
The most common marketing gimmick is the "One rule to obey for a flat stomach" or the "Two rules...", but when one clicks on the links, they fail to discover any "rules". A classic bait and switch maneuver. Another trick is to use random, dissasociated pictures of celebrities that have no connection whatsoever to Acai berry geared to fool the consumer into believing that stars like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt take Acai.
Furthermore, research into the manufacturing of Acai berry products reveals that they are relatively inexpensive to make, often undergoing processing and dilution which limits the actual nutritional benefit. Mark ups are above industry averages for similar nutritional products.
It takes many months often years and improper eating to get fat, and unfortunately there is no real quick fix to get you thin again... Nulean is considered an affordable, proven effective solution that is easy, safe, fast and works for everyone, guaranteed. So far Nulean shows no incidences of marketing shenanigans and the company stands behind the product offering online help for those who need assistance progressing through the regimen. Also Nulean provides cleansing, antioxidant nutrition, fiber for a healthy colon and high quality protein in a refined, "isolate" form. Doctors interviewed enjoy the completeness of the system. Consumers generally find it very palatable despite that it is very low in sugars, has no artificial sweeteners and has an extremely high nutritional content.

The common question of turning fat into lean muscle comes up a lot and both Nulean and Acaiberry suggest results in this regard although Nulean is a bit more subtle placing at least equal emphasis on the cleanse/therapeutic aspects of their product. Bottom line is that a complete profile of amino acids, especially the essential aminos, ie. those the body itself cannot manufacture and must get from foods or supplements, are needed to add new muscle mass or minimally maintain muscle while dieting.
Acai by itself or coupled with colon cleansing does not supply the majority of these necessary aminos whereas Nulean does in the form of a refined whey "isolate" which is both complete and has an alkalizing effect on the body. Nulean further claims to cause alkalinity with all their products and dietary recommendations. Rather cutting edge in that respect as many health professionals emphasize how an alkaline body is your primary defense against all disease and immune issues as well as the underlying key to longevity.
Bottom line, to enhance muscle mass with acai one would have to further supplement with some kind of bioavailable complete protein for results.
Digestive issues come up a with many people who have gained weight and are having trouble losing the pounds. Acai by itself seems to digest quite well for most consumers but has no particular remedial effect upon more general food digestion problems. Nulean uses a combination of aloe vera juice and aloe extract which is used medicinally to soothe the digestive tract and has a known healing effect on internal organs. The Protein isolate and fiber are enhanced with natural enzymes. Those seeking help with digestion may take note.
Testimonials and photos in Acai ads seem to be mainly stock photos, Nulean has compiled a library of actual personal testimonials probably from the hundreds of trials done under doctor supervision, no evidence of photoshop, all seem authentic. Doctor support and endorsements appear to be the backbone of Nulean whereas Acai seems to still be riding Oprah's back, which of late has reassumed its prior "healthy" proportions.
